2 Months!

Well Kinsey is now over 2 months old- she is growing so fast. She has made it through her first thanksgiving, christmas and new years! She is the happiest baby and loves to smile. Her favorite place is her crib- she especially loves her mobile! She also made it through her first shots. She cried some, but even the nurse said she was a tough girl as she only cried for a second and was then back to smiling. We made it through with just a little fussiness, but no fevers or any bad reactions.

Kinsey is getting more head strength everyday and loves to look around. She also enjoys having conversation with us. She gets pretty loud at times, especially if she thinks you aren't listening. She is also right on target for height and weight. Ryan and I couldn't have asked for a better little girl!!!

1 Month Old!!!

Kinsey's 1 month photo shoot went great!!! She is a great model for the camera. She is now more alert and loves to look around. She has discovered her voice and I think it suprises her when she makes noise. She is the best baby....no crying spells yet and she is getting the hang of trying to sleep through the night. She weighed 8lbs. 12oz. at her one month appointment. I can't believe how much she is growing already!

Our First Thanksgiving!!!

This was our first Thanksgiving since Ryan and I have been together that we haven't gone to Tennessee for Thanksgiving. We cooked our first thanksgiving dinner as a family here in Charleston. As you can see it was 70 degrees and sunny allowing Ryan to grill our turkey. People were skeptical about the grilling of the turkey, but it turned out wonderful. Of course I was the photographer so no pictures were taken of the wonderful side dishes I made- twice baked sweet potatoes, homemade dressing, brocolli casserole, etc. And of course Kinsey had to get dressed up for the occasion in her new dress!! She looked so cute. We are so thankful for our healthy new baby girl.

2 Weeks!!!

Kinsey is now 2 weeks old! She is the best baby- she hardly ever cries and loves to cuddle. Her doctor's appointment went well and she is gaining weight appropriately. We love her so much!!!
